People will always have a bias against recently acquired players. Not on purpose I don't think, they just don't know much about them yet compared to player that have been in the org for months or years. Had Acolatse been acquired last summer he would've ranked higher IMO. I agree Acolatse and Cundari should be similarly valued players. Look at Smith and McDonald for instance. I doubt very much management sees guys like Kulak and Ortio as better prospects (among others) yet this poll barely had them in the top 20. Even Poirier and Klimchuk were rated pretty low last year as 1st round picks who were just drafted.
