for the first time I didn't have my choice graduated; had to repeat for Wotherspoon
I see him as the most likely defenseman to play in the top three, and being very likely to play in the NHL

Wotherspoon I see as a solid, well rounded second pair D. Seiloff I like, but his offence is more limited. Teams need a guy like him IMO, but I rate Wotherspoon a slight notch above

Wotherspoon is further ahead in development than Poirier and Klimchuk, and I believe has a higher ceiling than Seiloff. I picked Wotherspoon as well.

first time since Monahan/Baertschi at 1, I was unsure of my vote ... chose Wotherspoon over Knight.

Starting to get tough. I was thinking Kilmchuck, or Poirier due to being first round picks in what is considered a deep draft. I went with Wortherspoon who made the World Juniors in a lockout year and played great all-season in Portland from all the accounts I have read

I went with Seiloff. Like his game and how he has been reported to take a leadership role in the US program.
Wotherspoon has a lot to like, but at the same time, played on a very very stacked team and had very strong partner's all year long.

I am really unclear on how to vote going forward, as i know little to nothing about klimchuk, porier, and knight.

Knight, the most ready of the current list and has potential to be 2nd line to a solid 3rd line center.

Had to go with Horak. For a guy that is pretty much a regular at this point, not a lot of love.

Flip flopping between Knight and Wotherspoon. Voted Knight last time, but went with Wotherspoon as I kind of wanted to change my vote last round.

Went Wotherspoon, but can't shake the feeling that we are underrating Klimchuk and Poirier who were first rounders in a deep draft year.
Crazy to think the Flames are 10 prospects deep with really good talent, when was the last time that was the case?

1. Monahan - 45.78% (http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=129540 )
2. Baertschi - 82.12% (http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=129559 )
3. Gaudreau - 79.58% (http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=129572 )
4. Gillies - 45.22% (http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=129588 )
5. Jankowski - 51.25% (http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=129608 )
6. Wotherspoon
7. Poirier
8. Sieloff
9. Klimchuk
10. Knight

That is likely how the top 10 will shake out with some variation in picks between 7-10.

Plus it is crazy to think that we would still have guys like Granlund, Arnold, Agostino, Hanowski, Ramage, Cundari, Reinhart, Horak, Kulak, Culkin in the 11-20 group. Honestly our group of prospects from 11-20 are potentially better then the prospects we had in the 1-10 group just a couple of seasons ago.

Feaster gets alot of flack but he has seriously put together a decent group of prospects in just his 2 seasons with the team.

Knight. Widely regarded to be NHL ready. Dominant in the faceoff dot.

I do feel many are underrating Poirier and Klimchuk, these guys should be the next 2 chosen, (though it seems clear that they wont be)

I still think Sieloff will bring more intangibles to the table than Wotherspoon. Sieloff for me.

Now it starts to get interesting. The first 5 all have a realistic shot at being great players - core guys. So it was pretty easy to have them at the top.
The next group, IMO, probably have an expected upside of being solid, role guys and are close or ready to take the next step. Of course you never know and any of them can raise to a higher ceiling, but it would be more of a pleasant surprise.

In that group, I would put Wotherspoon (who I voted for), Sieloff, Knight, Horak, Reinhart and Agostino.

Then you have another group that I would argue have similar (in some cases, higher) ceiling, but still need to show that next step before they graduate into the second group (maybe even the first).

That group would include Poirier, Klimchuk, Granlund, Arnold, Brossoit, Cundari, Breen, Kulak and Culkin.

Then you got the wildcards like Kanzig, Ferland, Harrison, Jooris, DeBlouw, Roy and Rafikov.

 Fun times.
