Default Summer Prospect Ranking Poll Round 25

Lots of disagreement on the Flames prospect ranking so why not poll them out through August and come up with a list that we can refer back to each summer.

Pick the top one left on the list each round.

Some pick on a mix of potential and ceiling, others just on talent ... use your own methodology.

Kulak is solid, but Ferland has too much upside still to ignore. I'm not sure if he will figure it out, but I like his potential.

Everyone else...I have doubts they will ever make the NHL.

Think I have it going like this to round out the top 30.

25: Ferland
26: Kulak
27: Nemisz
28: Harrison
29: Ortio
30: Deblouw

I keep voting for Roy because if he figures out the defensive side of the game he has the most upside of the remaining prospects in my opinion. Ferland needs a big year for me not to think he will bust.

Voted Kulak because he is on par with Culkin, who i voted for 7 times in a row. Ferland was also close. After those 2 i really don't see anything .

A bit off topic, but does anyone know how Coda Gordon's year was? I haven't seen his name mentioned once in these threads.

I think Roy is the only guy left with (long shot) top 4 potential. I gotta go with that higher ceiling.

He had a decent year, second in Swift Current in scoring- 17g, 42a, 59p in 70 games. Then had 2+2 in 5 playoff games.

I am close to that list too. Nemisz might drop down the list a bit for me though because he really seems to be struggling with making the leap to the NHL. I really hope that he is given a legit shot this season.

If he can stay healthy he could make for a good depth RWer on the 4th line and potentially move up to the 3rd if he can use his size to generate scoring chances.

I think some sources had him going as high as the 2nd round. Just from what I have read about him, it sounds like some insiders held him in fairly high regard.

Didn't some even have him as a late first rounder before the season started? He definitely fell quite a bit, but he seems to have a good attitude. First ever Métis player drafted to the NHL too if I'm not mistaken? Really hope he makes it.

Nobody has chosen Elson hey. He won't be an allstar or flashy, but he will make it. He's going to be a Yelle all over again. Maybe with a better finishing component. This gus works hard and sacrifices his body. Somethime I get turned around if this is a skills ranking or ranking on if they make the show. Elson will be there for a long time.

Not gonna lie... I voted for James Martin the first couple rounds, just to get people confused and mad.

I think it's safe to admit that 20 rounds later.

Hmm, time to stop for me, going too deep into "just guessing" territory. I'd rather listen to people who base their opinions on at least something.

I like Roy's upside too and yeah an article did say he was the first Metis drafted but it's not true. Theo Fleury for one is Metis.

Yeah, TJ Oshie too. Here's a dated list of current NHL players with native blood. Some are classed as natives others as Metis.
