Thanks again Bingo. Its good to even just hear what everyone thinks of these prospects because they all have good qualities that everyone values differently.

with Kulak coming in at 16, I think it's Culkin time now.

I think Mason McDonald is going to be a future Calgary Flame. How good he will be I don't know of course but he gets my vote.

I voted ended up voting for kanzig and now i have regrets. I flip flopped between him and macdonald. Out of curiosity, what are macdonald's chances making the world juniors?

I voted for McDonald again. Looking for great things from him in Charlottetown next season.

McDonald at this point. Normally I'd have lost interest in the process as players past this point in your pool have little hope of cracking the lineup. But there is still some talent there that I see with potential to be NHL players. Carroll, Culkin, Gilmour, Hanowski, Harrison, Hickey, Kanzig, Mattsson and Rafikov are still in the mix. Nice problem to have.

You're right there. The problem for me is that I know less and less about the prospects from here on and I'm not sure how meaningful my votes will be.

McDonald. Should have won the last round IMO.

Culkin time. I just can't vote for a crapshoot goalie when there are a still a few solid prospects on the board. Maybe next year.

This is what I don't get. It's not a crapshoot goalie. It's a top ranked goalie, the 1st goalie taken in this year's draft, who will likely represent Canada at the WJC this year. I'm not sure why there's no respect given to this kid.

Since I am assuming McDonald will win by a landslide, my last vote to be in the top 20 is Wolf.

So called experts over the years have proven that they are mediocre at best when it comes to drafting goalies, so I have little faith in any of their rankings. Trying to predict a goalie's future at 18 is like trying to predict a forward's at 13. You may be right...you're probably wrong, but nobody ever really seems to know how things will turn out.

Isn't he more likely to get into the mix next year when he's 19?

And first goalie taken means almost nothing
First goalie taken in:
2006-Riku Helenius
2007-Joel Gisdet
2008-Chet Pickard
2009-Miko Koskinen

True but he has already been Canada's goalie in the Under 17 and Under 18 tournaments and was voted best goalie in the Under 18s so he has pedigree.
