Juggling between Poirier, Granlund, and a little bit of Klimchuk.
Poirier was my vote.

Poirier ...
as I said in the Rd3, I'm almost relieved that Baertschi is off the list so I don't have to worry about when to take him!

Granlund and Wotherspoon are the most successful Flames 2nd round picks since 2000 with their 3 and 4 pts respectively.
Could argue they are the Flames best 2nd round picks since Blair Betts in 1998 considering Stoll and Foster didn't play any games for the Flames.

ya, this is where it starts to get close. I think Porier has more potential and will eventually slot into our second line and produce more. I think Granlund is next though.

Granlund still. Same reasons. He just looks like he's got those pieces together and is capable of so much.

Gillies was my pick. Not 100% sure on Poirier and his choppy skating, almost took Granlund but I realized how good Gillies is going to be.

Poirier, and it's not close. Such a unique prospect. Fast, skilled, gritty, pretty big, what's not to like? Even if he doesn't become a star (personally I think he'll be at least a 20-20 guy in the NHL) he could be a perfect 3rd Line RW. Like a bigger Ranheim who hits and fights.

Gotta be Poirier, Granlund really turned some heads last year with the Heat, but since being selected by the Flames Poirier keeps just getting better. I'm secretly hoping the kid makes a massive push for a full time spot with the Flames in Sept.

Poirier, I'm really high on him and think the sky's the limit for him. He has all the tools.

The Flyin' Frenchman. Poirier has an exciting blend of skill, speed and grit.
Granlund should win round 5 handily.

Wotherspoon for me. He has already shown that he's NHL ready and can potentially be playing in our top 4 as soon as next season.
Although Granlund has shown to be as capable in the NHL as Wotherspoon is, I just think Wotherspoon's upside might be as a top pairing defenceman where as Granlund in my opinion will never be a top line forward.

Poirier easily for me. I do believe Gaudreau, Bennett and Baerschi are better prospects, but Poirier is probably my favorite
He's one of the fastest skaters I've ever seen live since Lombardi, and he has the skill to turn anything in to a scoring chance. The grittiness he has makes me a huge fan
