Harrison...as he is by far the biggest wildcard left and as such i believe has the highest ceiling.
Very intrigued by this guy.

I went with Culkin. I don't like Kanzig's chances of having an NHL career but hope I'm wrong.

Billins will be the best D-man on the Heat (especially if Cundari sticks with the Flames) and will likely get some games with the Flames.
Love the fact that he was an important d-man on the Calder Cup team and was not signed by the Wings and on the Wings affiliate..... He had to be a lot better than the Wings contracted prospects to earn the ice time.
Important year for him Billins to break into the NHL as Wootherspoon and Ramage go through their first pro season and will likely be better prepared to make the jump next year.
He picked the Flames as he could have signed anywhere and the Flames figured he was worth a $92,500 signing bonus and a 925K .
Same sort of contract as Ramage and Wootherspoon. Except he is a RFA next year.
A better contract for Billins than Cundari, Breen and Bouma..

Culkin or Kulak are clearly the best prospects left IMO. I like Kanzig, but it is a shame if he beats those two. I won't mind if Hanowki or Ferland wins though.

Kanzig.
Lots of good choices left and I think we have the depth on this list to have a few pleasant surprises. I am hoping the Kanzig will keep growing and turn into an impact player.

Went with Culkin here, Kulak and Ortio were my other considerations. I still have a good feeling about Ortio if he's able to adjust to the north american ice. I'm not as high on Hanowski or Kanzig as some others, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

Kulak. He showed some flashes that he can be this organizations next Brodie at the end of last season.
(Disclaimer: it's more or less a toss up between Kulak and Culkin, but I've never seen Culkin play, so I voted for Kulak).

Went with Kanzig just because he has the potential to be an important player for us.

Hanowski. Give the devil his dues, he managed to play 5 games for the Flames last season. He may not have a big upside but he's shown more than anyone else left on the list.
Okay so he's not the most talented but there are all kinds of players who are great skaters, or great goal scorers or great passers or are tough as nails who never make it out of the minors. It takes a certain mind set to make it in the NHL and I'd say Hanowski so far has shown he may have it.

For some of these guys, I had to go read up on them as prospects. And I think I must be missing something, because out of the leading 4 vote-getters, Hanowski and Ferland seem to have the most upside. And Kanzig is the longest shot (and nothing indicates that if he pans out that he'll be anything other than large and intimidating.)
Maybe someone can do some 'splainin'.
For the record, I voted Ferland.

Is this the reason that some are voting Hanowski, because he played 5 games? If you ask me he looked lost and his skating has a lot of work to be done. Him getting more than some "after deadline playing time" over the next couple of years will be hard for him to get. I pretty much saw Nemisz 2.0
At least that was my impression of Hanowski. I also think people are praying that he turns out because he was part of the Iggy trade.
