Acolatse and Cundari are pretty much the same level of prospect but because Acolatse wasn't with the Flames organization last season he doesn't get any votes except by pgseive.
I went with Gilmour, at least he has a chance on being a NHLer. It doesn't look like Acolatse or Cundari will get more than a cup of coffee in the NHL.

By this stage in the rankings I think we've passed the point where there are any surprises left. Like Bingo stated before, you can almost guarantee that this time next year we'll look at one or two of the prospects ranked in that 15-25 range and wonder how we put them so low.
With the guys left I think there's little chance of that happening.

Ramage. Even though he had a rough year, he's still the best prospect on this list.

To me Ramage, Roy, Jooris, Carroll and Harrison are the only players left that look like they have any NHL potential at all and only in depth roles as 7th dman/ 13th forward tweener types. I don't consider guys like Cundari or Acolatse to be prospects but they have similar ceilings to the others I mentioned. The rest of the players are purely AHL players at best or not getting pro contracts at worst.

IMO, having watched Ramage, it looks like his skating ( foot speed) will be an insurmountable obstacle.

He also can't play defense to save his life. I think he might have more potential if he was converted to wing. We shall see...

Unfortunately for Roy, the last thing this team needs at the moment is a project LH winger. IMO he's not long for this organization if he can't make it as dman.

Roy or Ramage. Went with Roy because of his higher potential.

Cundari is at most a tweener.
Gilmore may be a fine little player but at his size he needs to be more than fine.
Ramage despite spending 4 years in college couldn't keep his AHL job. I don't see much future for him.
Roy is the only one left with the size and skill to have some future. He gets my vote.

Agreed. Except Cundari, Jooris, and Acolatse all have a decent chance at being depth NHL players and a guy like Billins or Gilmour could catch us by surprise.
But Roy has the best skill set at this point IMO of who is left on the list.

I can't vote for Roy over good AHL defensemen until he improves his defensive play. Went with Cundari as I think he'll see more NHL time than the rest of them.

Looks like I'm going to be voting for Gilmour longer than any other guy in this whole process!

You say that, but last year we voted Ortio 30th and now a narrow majority of us have him as our top goaltending prospect. I guess it's different with goalies but you never really know who's going to come out of nowhere and have a breakout year.

Voted Roy, thinking I should have gone Harrison though. I think Harrison has a much better shot of reaching his potential as a 4th line energy guy than Roy reaching his as an offensive Dman.
