Went Deblouw again, had Elson in mind as well.
Billins I've seen the argument
Gordon I've heard some good things
Then I'm out of choices!

Rafikov. Super sleeper pick IMO that the flames made. Hopefully he comes over after his contract is up.

Rafikov, 4th round in a row for me.
Sounds like a solid pick. That is, IF he ever comes to play in North America.

Why Rafikov over Billins? That's a little confusing to me.
One is an AHL All-Star and Calder Cup Champion who put up 0.50 PPG in a pro league. The other has never been seen by anyone on this board, is 18 years old, and has never played in a pro league in his life.
Not that I'm saying Rafikov will be a bust, but I'm saying Billins is better and should be ahead of Rafikov given his professional accomplishments to this point.

Rafikov for his age has done pretty well. His play in the under 18's was good. The biggest knock on Rafikov is if he will ever come over.
If you are going to go by AHL All- Star status ( which is not a big deal) then Billins should be in the top 10.

Again, you're voting on who is more NHL ready. Obviously that's Billins; he's 6 years older.
Others are voting on potential. Some people believe that at age 24 Rafikov will be a better player than Billins is currently, and I don't think that's a stretch.
Anyone remember Brett Palin?

Voted for Deblouw, though I honestly forgot about Coda Gordon. Deblouw seemed so clutch his first year in the NCAA, and apparently is an ace on the faceoff dot and a great PK'er. Coda Gordon has top 6 upside - though I thought his last season was a touch underwhelming (just expected more improvement).
Rafikov over Billins is a good debate. Those who side with Rafikov are doing so because he actually does have the potential to be an impact defencemen in the NHL, and he has size. One of Russia's top young D (Under 18's). Billins might make the NHL, and he might even be a high-impact offensive D, but there are definite questions about his size to make people a bit more apprehensive about his transition. I personally see a PP specialist in him, but he really could end up being a pretty decent D. I feel Rafikov will have an easier time making the NHL and crawling into the top 4. Billins COULD be the next Krug. Tough choice.

I voted Billins.
Prospects are like cake in the oven.
Sometimes you just think this cake is going to be super special. This time I just wanted the cake that I could eat the quickest.

I voted for Deblouw by mistake. Meant to vote for Elson. I think he is going to impress people this season.
