I'm gonna wait to see the arguments before I vote. I think Culkin or Hickey or Kanzig.

This is where it is a real crap shoot.
I went with Wolf. He has an edge to his game but his stats in the DEL show he has a bit of an offensive touch too. Think he may surprise some this year.

I went with Wolf. I know some people don't consider him a prospect, but he's still young and has some developing to do.
After Wolf, I'd probably go with Kanzig because he's physically a freak. Don't know much about Culkin or Ollas-Mattson.

I went with Kanzig again. For a freshly drafted player outside the 1st round, he had a long look last year at camp and we know Treliving/Burke favour size. I think Kanzig is going to get a lot of attention and opportunities.
I don't know what to do with Wolf personally. I think he stands a good chance to make the team and logically would be a good prospect as making the NHL is the ultimate goal for any of them; but I feel like long-shots with more upside are better "prospects" at this point.

Gotta go with Kanzig on this one. Decent hockey smarts, leadership, facepunching and size. Need to see progress with skating and puck movement.

Down to defensemen at this point. Culkin hasn't progressed the way Kulak has, but he's still a solid prospect in his own right. It came down to him, Hickey, and Ollas Mattson, and I think Culkin has done a little more at this point to warrant the votes here.

Went with Wolf, because he probably has the best chance of being an NHLer this season among the remaining players.

Also should John Gilmour be getting more respect? He is producing a decent amount of points on a defensive team. Maybe he can make the jump to the AHL after next season.

A few good options here such as Wolf, Culkin, and Kanzig but I went with Hanowski. I think he has the drive to adapt his game and become a decent mucker with some physical play.

Culkin, Hickey, Hanowski, Kanzig and Wolf "should" be the next 5 in some order. After that, it's more or less randoms.

I've always thought of him as being fairly similar to Chad Billins. Slightly undersized defenseman putting up decent numbers on a low scoring NCAA team. Both good skating/puck moving defenders that rely on positioning and stick work in their own zone.
Billins went on to put up two impressive seasons in the AHL, and is now on his way to Russia.
I don't really see enough upside with Gilmour to put him ahead of many of the prospects still available.

Haven't officially voter as on Tapatalk, but I'd go with Brandon Hickey here. Scintillating skating ability combined with size and upside. Kanzig. Culikin, Wolf, Ollas Matsson get my consideration here as well.

Culkin for me. Though Wolf and Hickey are close.
I hope I am wrong about Kanzig. But I don't see him as an NHL player. Generally CHL players that develop into NHL players are better enough than their peers in the CHL they put up points.
Hal Gill put up points. Robyn Regehr put up points. So did Adam Pardy, Douglas Murray, and Shane O'Brien. They aren't offensive players in the NHL but they were good enough in junior to put up points anyway.
I can't find any examples of NHL players that put up Kanzig like points in the CHL.
I haven't written him off entirely. I have liked him when I have seen him. His speed seems to be less of an issue. I like his size and style of play. But put him on the ice against NHL players and I don't know if his game stacks up.
He is right there with Jankowski (and to a lesser extent McDonald) in the whazzat picks. Heck, the pick even surprised him (he was making a sandwich at home).

I have Maatson instead of Hanowski. Hanowski is pretty far down my list personally. What do you like about him (honest question)?

Looking forward to 5 years from now, when we see where this and last year's polls line up against reality.
Almost guaranteed there will be a guy that doesn't make our top 20 that has an impact career with the Flames.
Assuming Kanzig graduates here, guessing Hickey, Gilmour or Culkin are the best candidates.
