Still unclear what criteria is to be used when voting. All my votes were based in who I thought was going to have the biggest impact for the Flames in the future. It seems like many posters are voting for who is closest to being an NHLer at this point in time.

I'm sticking with Kanzig, I just think he could turn into something really important for this team. Even if he doesn't ever develop an offensive game, I feel his defense and intimidation would really help the future of the team. If it all comes together then he could be really important.

Kulak 3rd round in a row now. This forum must really hate defensemen! Wotherspoon went lower than he should have IMO and now Kulak gets no love.
Hopefully this round changes that.

That's your decision to make. Which of those two elements are more important do you feel when determining the worth of a prospect?
Jankowski would be the poster child for those that value potential ceiling. Reinhart or Knight would be good examples of closer to making the team.

Going to abandon Kulak this round and go with Agostino. I think Agostino and Arnold are closes of each other and should go at the same time. Both should play in the NHL and be excellent on the 3rd or 4th lines.

really close between Knight, Kulak, McDonald and Agostino. Went with Knight as I feel there's the least risk factor

I wouldn't trade Smith for anyone else who is still in the poll, so I went with him. Based on the early returns, it looks like I'll be voting for him for the next several rounds.

Culkin needs some love. I think he and Kulak are going to be very close this year. I can really see them being like Gio and Richie Regehr were in Omaha, and I expect both of them to get short call-ups after the new year.
Earlier this year, Sportsnet had a Gatineau/Drummondville game on Friday Night Hockey. I tuned in specifically to watch Poirier, but as the game went on, Culkin caught my eye more and more, on both sides of the puck. I thought he was the best player on the ice for either team in that game and it really made me excited to see what he can do as a pro.

Ferland for me, if he can stay healthy and continue his progression we will have a true power forward that can punch faces and do the triple-deke. Seeing our influx of smaller, talented players, I could see Ferland playing a major role in our future as a 20g/20a/100pm top-six winger.

Went with Knight - very good faceoffs, good in the shootout, RH shot. I expect we'll see a call-up and then his contract expires at the end of the year & the Flames should know what they have with Corban by then, so they'll offer accordingly. Wolf-Knight-Arnold could be an excellent 4th line.

What makes you think Wotherspoon should have been ahead of Gaudreau, Bennett, Baertschi, Poirier, Granlund or Klimchuk? I could see Reinhart, but he shouldn't be above the other ones. The Flames just have really weak defensive depth.
Voted Ferland again this round. I think he has a chance to be a good top 6 winger.

That's why I have been voting Kulak for awhile now. I think it's the fourth round in a row. I just think Kulak has the highest ceiling out of all the remaining prospects. He is also a D-men, who is impressing at his age. In my experience D-man take longer to develop, so someone like Kulak who has shown early progress is really exciting.
