Elson, DeBlouw, and Gordon are all interesting prospects. I went with Elson. He has a real chance of making the NHL and I think he will turn some heads in Abby this season.

Agreed - went with Elson as well; very smart player - hope it translates as a pro.
Gordon has his drawbacks but has that goal scorer's knack for right place, right time and knows how to finish.
Deblouw could very well be an effective 4th liner of the future with 3rd line upside if all goes well...
Crazy - that's a top 35 right there with still guys who impressed at prospect camp like Jooris on the board...speaks volumes...

I liked Elson the best out of this limited field...really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

DeBlouw here, and it is probably too low for him.
2nd on his team in scoring, 0.5 PPG in his first college season, dominating on faceoffs, and strong defensively.
Actually had a great freshman season that didn't really get talked about.

I have nothing against the guy but to me it's a bit strange Rafikov got picked ahead of some of the guys on the list still. What do we actually know about Rafikov, apart from he's a stay-at-home defender in Russia that Igor Kravchuk likes? At least we have access to information about the guys on the list!

Elson. He was a pitbull at camp, the other guys left in this poll were not nearly as noticeable.

Quite frankly, the info for the guys on this list is about as much as we have on Rafikov. The only ones we know more about are Howse and Elson, and that's because they've been in the system longer. I don't think anyone would argue that Howse is the better prospect since he can't seem to get in shape. Elson could have been right there with Rafikov, but the poll is what it is...a snapshot on fan perspectives with limited information.

DeBlouw had a solid season last year considering everything he went through with the death of his father.
There was one game last season that I was listening to and he took four-straight d-zone face offs in the last few minutes of the game and won every one. That impressed me a lot to see the coach having that level of confidence in a freshman.

I only knew anything about Jooris so I picked him.
Last time I vote.
