this one is actually interesting ...
I went Wilson as he provided excellent second line scoring on a line with Kromm and Patterson after the 1984 Olympics. Pretty slick hockey player ... they called it the dice line 11/22/33
Zalapaski and Aucoin were both solid players in Calgary too ... ZZ lost it though ... just lost it. So odd.

Wilson gave his spleen to the Battle of Alberta. He wins.

Prust. The guy is what teams need to win and he wasn't treated the best here. I don't think he'll win but he deserves to be recognized for what he brought to the team. Just seems like a real good guy too.

This will be a big split vote I'm sure. Nobody of great significance on this list, but I went with Carey Wilson because he had some pretty solid to good years here in his first stint, and not so great his second stint.
Zalapski might have been better if he hadn't run into such bad injury trouble. Not a great defenseman overall though.
Aucoin was really good in his 2 years here, but it's just not enough tenure to be considered an all-time great Flame.
Prust has turned into a good overall player, but he only played 35 games in a Flames uniform over 2 seasons.
Oliwa had one season here guys…as an enforcer. Sure he was a fan favorite, but let's not put too many votes for his contributions just because we have fond memories.

I wonder what happened to the user, carey wilson's spleen ( http://forum.calgarypuck.com/member.php?u=8675)? No posts in almost 3 years.
Probably the funniest user name I've ever seen here.

Remember when Patterson and Wilson called in to the Flames show when Richie Kromm was the on air guest?
They started to talk about how he was their favourite player or something. Then they asked a question, something like "hey what are you making us for supper?"

Unusual for the time, Wilson was a pretty effective defensively by employing smarts and skill rather than slashing and cross-checking. He was one of the only effective shadows against Gretzky.

Aucoin.
It's a pretty shallow list so I went with the fond memory of Aucoin at the skills competition being interviewed and he says to the crowd some comment to the parents about how his wood stick is only $20 at Canadian Tire.

The only players I can recall watching are Aucoin, Prust and Oliwa. Therefore I am picking Zarley Zalapski.
