Lots of disagreement on the Flames prospect ranking so why not poll them out through August and come up with a list that we can refer back to each summer.

Pick the top one left on the list each round.

Some pick on a mix of potential and ceiling, others just on talent ... use your own methodology.

I think this is three or four straight rounds voting for Klimchuk now! Odd that I'll never get a chance to vote for Poirier, Knight and Sieloff

Either way I like the democratic angle of this list (about to be top ten), and it will be interesting to not only compare this top ten to others on the net but also to pull it up in 5 years and have a good look at it.

Agostino....someone not many are aware how good he has become, particularly the last 2 years.

He will be the biggest sleeper in this whole list IMO.....a couple years ago he lost 2 months of training to mononucleosis but still managed to impress enough to make the WJC camps with Gaudreau and Arnold among others.

Klimchuck to round out the top 10. You could probably make an argument that if each of the players in the top ten right now would probably have a first round grade in a redraft in their year. At the very least move up from their original draft position.

Went Reinhart. At the very least Reinhart will be a 3rd line center that plays a 200' game. Being that he is a Reinhart, i would not be surprised if he ends up being a 1b/2a center in the form of a Langkow type center.

Now that i think about it, i should have voted for him before this round.

I debated back and forth between Agostino and him, but I think Granlund has higher upside.

Not saying I think he should go this round, but did anyone watch turner elson this year with red deer? I cam away very impressed in the few regular season games I watched, and a couple of the playoffs games against the hitmen.

He could be another sleeper for the flames, he was an undrafted free agent signing too.

I said Granlund. Love his shot. This was a hard one, I debated between him, Reinhart, Klimchuk and Agostino.

He really stood out for that jam role in the development camp for sure. I don't think he comes anywhere near the top 15 but I certainly liked his play.

Will be interesting to see what he does at the pro level.

Kind of interesting ... Sieloff being the #7 top prospect and might be captain of USA WJC team compared to John Ramage winner of gold and Bronze on the USA WJC and captain of the bronze winning team no votes at all for being a top 10 prospect.

Ramage has already performed at a level as a 19 year old that we are hoping of Jankowski, Poirer and Sieloff, and really don't expect Klimchuk to get to.

Has Ramage been damaged?

I agree. Kenny has all the tools to become an impact middle 6 winger. He is very skilled and has all the intangibles you could ask for

Picked the other 1st rounder this time around. That's a solid top 10 list. Not sure who to pick next. I like Cundari, Agostino, Ramage.

I am cautiously optimistic about him. It concerns me that he broke out as a 20 year old though, it kind of reminds me of JD Watt

having two 1st rounders in a deep draft only rounding out the top 10 is a testament to the fine work Feaster, Weisbrod and their team have done in regards to our prospect system. Feels good not having the worst system of the NHL any more.

Will be interesting to see 11 to 15 as well. Horak, Bouma, Cundari and Reinhart have already proven that they don't look out of place in the NHL and you still have guys like Granlund, Agostino, Ramage, Culkin and Kulak on the board as well. Nice depth, really.

Totally. And it shows that just because a prospect is not in the consensus top ten of an organizations depth chart, it does not mean they are not quality prospects who could usurp the higher ranked prospects over time.
