This one could be unanimous.

Definitely David Moss. Big, dominant top line center for years here.

Obviously Joe, but some of the numbers for Plett, who became nothing more than a goon when he got traded to Minny in 1982, were incredible.
Parents escaped the Soviet Union and Germany to escape WWII, so born in South America (Paraguay) before moving to Ontario.
First, he won the Calder Trophy in ATL in 1977.
In Calgary (not Atlanta, where he was 5 years prior) over 2 seasons:
156 games played, 49 goals, 145 points, 527 PIM(!) That's almost a point a game, and almost 4 minutes of penalties per game. Crazy 80's.

As a little kid Willi Plett was my favourite player. I will never forget standing in the Corral concourse as a kid, watching the players walk out to the ice, and this GIANT blonde surfer looking dude without a helmet walked by, and gave me a wink. That's all it takes to make a kid a lifelong fan. All the kids would be picking all the big names at the time for road hockey. Gretzky, Sittler, Marcel Dionne... I always went with Willi Plett.
But I have to take Joe Nieuwendyk here if we are basing this on the best players. Picking Plett over Nieuwendyk, would be almost as stupid as taking Gelinas over Reinhart.

Loved Platt, but Joe was a no brainer.
Really hope that if someone does choose not to vote Nieuwendyk they actually vote for a reason, and not to just be the guy not voting for 100%.

Bannable offense? There is no reason outside of just being a dick.

I always loved Mike Bossy
It wasn't the same but the way Nieuwendyk hit the ground running really made me feel what it would have been like to have a Bossy. Nieuwendy's hand eye was off the charts and the greatest goal scorer this organization had, and we've had a few

Can we just skip to 33 already so we can crown Oliwa the winner?

Being that unique player is why I voted for Plett. A tough SOB who didn't back down from anyone and had talent to boot. Of course he didn't have the talent of Niewendyk but it was the intangables (size, toughness and skill) that made him a favourite of mine when he was playing for The Flames.

The poll question was "best all time player to wear this jersey", not favourite player to wear that jersey.
This should be a 100% poll, just like Iginla and Fleury.

If Iginla and Fleury weren't 100%, then Joe shouldn't be either.
Joe will win handily, and that's the important take away from this poll, unlike the travesty of Gelinas winning over Paul Frickin Reinhart.

If that was the case then Paul Reinhart would have had 100% of the votes and won. You voted for Gelinas which contradicts your statement.
