Good to see.
He took a lot of abuse for his prediction, but props to Ziggy Lidstrom for voicing his opinion, sticking to his guns and following through on his bet.

Good to see.
He also made good on his bet with me, donating $50 to the food bank.

Well done Ziggy!

If the conference final isn't Calgary vs Colorado this year, there has been at least one major upset.

The East has 4-6 very good teams, where as the West really has these 2 and a good drop off to the next bunch.

Goal differential tells a really interesting story just now.

The four division leaders are all +60 or better. Every other team is under +40.

All four first-place teams have to be pretty heavy favourites to make the conference finals. Of course, there will almost certainly be at least one upset, as usual, but individually their odds are pretty good.

I’d be curious to look at this historically. There’s still such an element of randomness in playoff hockey that I’d be surprised if this was more telling than any other season in recent memory.

Gaudreau and Lindholm are on pace to finish +62. 1987 was the last time a player had a better plus minus (Gretzky +69)

The best anyone has done this milennium is +52.

That is great that he paid up, what on earth is so great about someone "sticking to his guns" on an outrageously bad take? He deserved all the ridicule he endured for that nonsense.

Is there enough bars near the dome on 17th to make this happen? Maybe at 14th ave end.

Don't think I have ever had such a turn around on a person in my life, Bieksa is gold on that panel, Ron Mclean can't hide from being an Oiler fan, Hrudy try's hard not to be a fanboy but he is, Friedman is hard to dislike but is biased for Toronto.

Bieksa just says what he feels and doesn't seem to be a fanboy for anyone.

I'm not saying he was right, I'm not saying it wasn't a bad take, I'm not saying he shouldn't have been challenged. He had the guts to post his opinion, and stuck to it amongst the dog pile that ultimately ensued. I admire that.

COMPLETELY RANDOM QUESTION:
So yesterday I was watching the pre-game skate, and they typically have the same tunes everytime. But I want to know the song name (probably answering my own question), and author, because I can't find it anywhere.

The lyrics in said song goes something like this: "You can't stop us, you can't stop us, you can't stop us. You can put it on repeat!" (probably?) I find the tune catchy, and future thanks for any help.

Transplant got it but I always recommend Shazam application for your phone. It’s almost always correct…although I can’t remember when it wasn’t!
