1:40 in this video. the way he loses ryan nothing happens in the dzone. there isn't a player in the league as elusive as johnny and all the oiler fans and panelists say "just hit him"
While RNH water skis behind him with the hook.

The comment wasn't completely wrong.

Darnell Nurse will have his best game of the season...

He's pretty bad all the time. Maybe it was his best game of the season?

McDavid and Drysaitl will be, well, McDavid and Draisaitl...

They were exactly that.

Goaltending will not be a question.

It wasn't, at least not for the Oilers. Came exactly as advertised.

The puck will be in the Flames D zone all night...

Cleary wrong on this point of course.

Oiler fans are hilarious when they complain about McDavid having to put up with any contact at all.

They play 3 players for almost half the game who are all defensive nightmares, and then they wonder why the team can't defend.

On this play, his positioning prevented Jarnkrok from scoring his first goal as a Flame...

I made my first ever GIF!

The Kylington goal sequence was so good and so funny to me. The pass by Gaudreau, the janky celebration, the hilarious zoom onto Koskinen getting tangled up by his own defender's stick, and a dejected McDavid enters the shot.

Just going to acknowledge Ziggy Lidstrom here, as he paid up his 200 goal bet with a $50 donation to CP in my name yesterday.
Good to see.

I’m not smart enough to make a gif, so I’ll post the tweet instead. Come for the Milan Lucic pre-game Travolta strut, stay for the Bieksa chirps:

Honestly it doesn't get much better then that as a Flames fan on a Saturday night. I stayed up extra late to listen to the juicy CHED post game show. Rob Brown and Bob Stauffer were complimentary to the Flames saying they ran the oilers out of the building.

Koskinen reminds me of those narcoleptic goats that faint and quiver when you scare them.

Carpenter looked good last night too. Probably went largely unnoticed given the type of game it was and being a -1, but I liked his style for sure. Very energetic and tenacious.

Hanifin was mentioned, but I loved the hit on the booger eater in the third period as well.

They said to ignore Darryl Sutter's downplaying comments pre-game and that it would be a shock if the Flames weren't in the western conference finals this year.

Not sure if genuine or just trying to throw Sutter-like jinxes on us with excessive compliments.

What a great day of reading HFOil.

Roller coaster season for their fans. Best team for a couple of months, bottom 5 team for a couple, top 2 team for a couple. Still on the bubble and no lock to make it.

They were as cocky as could be coming into last night and have been completely humbled and embarrassed by their mediocre squad.

Saw a lot of ripping on Woodcroft last night

What a game. The atmosphere in the Dome was incredible. Really fun back and forth to start, and then when the Flames pulled away it was so deliciously sweet.

Drank an unknown amount of Dome beers and then went to 17th after to continue partying. Hell of a hangover today but so worth it.

I’m still absolutely buzzing!

The atmosphere last night reminds me of how crazy playoffs will get if they start winning games for a change.

And playoffs through the summer to boot?

Bring it the #### on.

I don't know if its koskinen's odd Finnish expressions but seeing him being propped up like a turtle with his limbs slowly flailing in the air and a blank, mindless look on his face is just gold.

Guy looked properly shocked and helpless.
