I went with Schneider because you never know with goalies. He could become a #1 goalie in 7 years. Higher upside than anyone else (besides Rittich) on the list.

Mattson. He's got a lot more NHL level skills than anyone left. Just needs to round out his game.

Smith last years 2nd round pick, he has to be at least our 26 best prospect.
I have to give me another year or two before he is wrote off.

Rittich again for me. I think he has the highest shot of making an impact on this team.

Big rig smith here. Then it really falls off for me.
Next group contains Mattson, rafikov, karnaukhov, rittich, Morrison and Schneider.

Might be a bit weird because it will happen in the later stages of this whole process, but should we add this Dyokov kid to the list?

I wouldn't bother.
He's on an AHL deal and could be signed by another team to an NHL deal right now if they wanted to.

Oh. I missed that. I thought he was signed by the Flames not the Heat. Interesting.

I don't see any potential with Smith. I'm actually shocked that Button would draft him in the 2nd round.
What's his ceiling? Brian Boyle? And what are the odds he reaches that ceiling? 20%?
A 1 in 5 shot at getting Brian Boyle just doesn't wet my willy.

Going with Carroll. I don't get the support for Smith. Size alone does not make a person a good hockey player. [See Engelland, Derrick]

I don't get the hate towards Engelland, anytime he's been called upon he's played well. He's been a pretty solid bottom pairing defenseman IMO.

Although I don't think Hunter Smith will be that guy, if anyone at this stage turns into a Deryk Engelland level of player, that's a massive win.

Looks like I'll be voting Rafikov for a few more rounds.

Agree, Engelland has actually been great for us. Only problem is that he makes way too much.

Here is how I'd rank the rest.
Schneider
Mattson
Kanzig
Morrison
Falkovsky
Smith
Karnaukhov
Rafikov
Carroll
Bruce
Rittich
Harrison

Yeah I wouldn't be opposed to giving Engelland 1 year 1 mil extensions for a while yet. A team needs 1 face-puncher to put into the lineup when necessary. He'd be a better fit for the role than Bollig imo.
Going with Smith here. After him, Falkovsky, Kanzig, and Schneider are gone, the rest are less than a crapshoot imo. I wonder who finishes last?

Went Hunter Smith but there's not much left to choose from at this point.

I believe in the Jays.

Falkovsky again. Same size as Smith pretty much and got only 8 less points in his draft eligible +1 OHL season... as a defenseman.
Most upside left on the list IMO.
