Pollock again for me. Not a guy we are familiar with, but was a top 10 prospect in a deep Stars organization, and a guy that I think has a lot of attributes to be an NHL player.

Went with Kulak. He's more or less NHL ready right now.

Kulak still has fairly high potential, and a pretty high floor as well. Should make for a decent top 4 defencemen in the upcoming years, and is arguably bottom-pairing capable right now.
Next few picks will be a bit tougher for me.

went klimchuk.... I've bounced between him and dube the past couple rounds.
I'm not that high in kulak, he seems a depth dman to me. Hopefully he shows that he's got a higher ceiling than that and ability to actually cement himself as a top6 everyday guy soon....

Once you get into the 10-20 rankings it's so tough to separate the prospects. All depends how you value nhl readiness and potential.

Okay, now that we're out of the top 10, I can start being a Finnish homer and vote Tuulola... for as long as it takes
(I also believe he was a complete steal of a pick.)

Tried voting for Pribyl. Just a reflex at this point.

These next 10 or so spots are going to be all over the map since all of them are so close to each other. Kulak might take this round, but I could probably think of at least 4-5 other guys who are just as deserving.
I'm voting Parsons sheerly for his potential and draft position, and the few things I've read about him. Those are my biases.
Also, if you had asked me 2 years ago, or even as recently as last year, who was better between Kulak and Culkin, I wouldn't have had a clue and I bet the voting would be 50/50. Now (at this point of the voting) Kulak has 46 votes and Culkin has 1. It just goes to show you the different career paths that can happen between two strikingly similar prospects.

Tough decision.
Kulak seems to have better upside than Wotherspoon but that doesn't say much. Never been a big believer in Klimchuk and his performance last season in the AHL didn't improve that. Pollock seems to be a bigger version of Klimchuk but he hasn't had a chance to disappoint in the AHL yet. MacDonald made the WJ team, but never filled you with confidence when you watched him in the net. Parsons was great last season but behind a great team. Makes him hard to evaluate.
I almost went with Pollock but I have the same doubts with him as I did with Klimchuk. Don't think he can be a big enough producer at the pro level. So I went with Parsons instead.

it does get tough at this point ... though I still think there are a half dozen or so players that could have a huge impact on the Flames organization down the road.
Either way, valuable process as it gives the site a good reference point to compare year to year and as I've said in the past some excellent currency in the case of a trade.
Best example is that Horak and Broissoit for Smid trade a few years ago. It was handy to be able to state they were two prospects in the teens from the Flames organization when Oiler fans thought they took two of the blue chippers.

What ever happened to Rafikov? I could have swore he was thought more highly of than he currently is in this exercise. I mean, he's not even in the conversation of being in the conversation at this point, not a single vote or mention in any prospect ranking thread.
For my own ignorance can someone explain this prospect to me?

Russian Witherspoon with a bit more edge? He's fallen off the map I think because he bounced around a lot last year and he hasn't really committed to coming to NA anytime soon.
