Speaking of the letter let's get back to the cult discussion. someone's must have one right now and it not discussing it. It's been close to 24 hours since mrkajz44 rejected right? Either the have to accept soon or they have rejected it or will reject it and it hiding it. We know what Guardians can reject without consequence. I'm very curious to see what happens when there is an Eternal rejection. What will happen? What do you guys think?

I will reveal what my role is and what my night action was last night. The town can use that info, once my card has flipped, to see if what's happened so far makes anymore sense with what I've done. I'd rather not reveal right now, but if it's my time to go I'd like to try and help however I can.

I still don't get why we're going to let Matt skate by again. The town gets way more info voting him out than probably any other player at this point. The way some people are convinced we don't need to worry about the new groups doesn't make any sense to me.

Well the good news is that once he claims cop the mafia needs to kill our doc first and then our cop. If they don't do that we can look at lynching them. The other good news is that we can move on to Bax or squiggs and the best two role claims are already gone so we get to lynch someone.

I think your point is that so we always get to the brink and then the victim just has to reveal something and we move on to another person and with the reveal the mafia knows a bit more about us. We keep threatening the wrong people making them have to speak. GP_Matt been threatened twice now and hasn't said a word other than he's got something but it's not the same as ECF and he hasn't used it yet.

Summary:
ECF is the doctor, do we believe him?
hmmmmcamo will reveal something, will we believe him?
GP Matt says he doesn't have poison but has something else he hasn't used yet. Do we believe him?

I think it's the main dilemna of Day 2. You have to decide what you believe. I believe ECF and don't believe GP Matt. Still waiting on hmmmmcamo but probably won't believe him either.

Fair point. It would still be pretty brutal though, to have both our cop and doctor dead by the end of night 3. For me, GP_Matt might be a logical next lynch (assuming fantastic role claim by hmmhmm) as quite a few posters have expressed concern and it could help settle our minds in regards to the cult groups.

The way hmmhmm is posting right now, it seems he's resigned to a lynch today, which likely means he's not about to claim cop or vig.

Vig is not bad though. Its easily testable and we gain a confirmed townie out of it. Using it on an inactive poster is fairly low risk to the town. Cop hurts us as we would only get two investigations out of him.

I'm starting to get an inkling of suspicion that he just had a bad plan to try and lay low with his ability and it backfired on him.

You made a lengthy posts about scenerio's for the invites during the day, and then that evening you claim to have received the next one and reported it as rejected the next morning.

There are 16 of us (19 alive, 3 already with membership in a group) who could have received the invite and the person who gets it is also the person who earlier that same day put up a huge post about scenerio's? That's not weird at all to you?

Rathji seems to suggest that he does not have a night action. Of course he's not coming right out and saying it - and I don't think anyone blames him for that. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have an ability.

We have an option to not put him to the brink and move the vote to someone else pre-reveal if we think he is being genuine. Our cop can investigate and we leave it until we get more info sometime down the road.

Really up to those voting for him to take the pressure off now before he reveals this evening. We are doing the GP_matt thing again of letting them off the hook before getting the info. But I do read the same things you are in his reluctance to reveal.

He just said he didn't use a power that night. He neither confirmed or deny that he has a power.

It was a conversation with GGG because he wanted to lynch the next person who accepted. I thought it was hasty so I gave out the scenarios of all the possibilities at the time. GGG stated that 2 and 4 were not possible and I agreed and let it go. You will notice that GGG and I disagree a lot.

Then a few hours later, I got the letter.
