Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to suggest Pierre is also not a right-wing deplorable. I mean, there's a reason he got the leadership. Just that I think that if he's out, it doesn't change anything in the party. They'll just try to put someone just as deplorable.

Is there a good website to visualize the results from the different elections?

I've looked at the National Post and CBC websites but it's not exactly what I'm after. Would like to see the change in vote for each election. National Post has a toggle for the last election, but I want to go back further than that.

But truthfully when someone commented on her, she looked like she was in her 20s to me. I don't know what it is but as a father who now hangs around a teenage daughter and her friends, I've developed a distaste for men in their 40s/50s gawking a girls in their 20s. I'll re-engage my filter since that didn't really apply here.

Wikipedia is your best bet. They have every election broken down by province

I'm not a father and I also find that stuff repugnant. Had an acquaintance that was 37 and dating an 18 year-old a couple of years ago. ####ing gross.

Shortly after he was elected leader of the Conservative Party, Poilievre moved into Stornoway house, the taxpayer-funded official residence of the leader of the Opposition.

But according to the Official Residences Act, Stornoway is reserved for the “Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons”. Since Poilievre lost his seat, he is no longer recognized as the official leader of the opposition.

That means that in all likelihood, Poilievre and his family will have to move out to make space for the next party leader in the House of Commons. He also loses out on a $215,090 annual budget for residence staff and services and a $2,000 annual vehicle allocation.

Without a seat in Parliament, Poilievre will not be able to return to the House of Commons when it resumes. That makes things more awkward for the Conservative leader, who must now find a way to regain a seat, while also soothing party concerns about its loss.

The by-election would have to be called by Carney and I think he can wait for up to a year to approve it. It could be 15months before PP gets back in da house!
