Dare we hit 70%+ turnout this election, can we hit 75%? We haven't hit that since 1988 and both sides seem energized to get out the vote.

I voted for the Rhino Party based on their green platform promises

For sure looks like a massive voter turnout coming with a crazy 7.3 million advance votes. Nice to see the engagement level and I realized he has driven that and pretty much completely turned the election into a contest himself, but boy I hope Trump keeps his damned mouth shut the rest of the day except to congratulate the winner.

People voting CPC probably want Trump to keep his mouth shut.

People voting Liberal would love him to keep spewing his nonsense.

I figured the high voter turn out would lead to reduced crowds today.

You left out the Canadian Future Party. We have a forum member running for them in Calgary and some folks here might have voted for them.

That party had its knees cut out from under it the moment Carney was named Liberal leader.

They lost my support when they changed their name from Centre Ice. Perfect name for a centrist Canadian party

I voted Liberal -

1) Nixon can go eff himself - still dislike him after his covid scandal.
2) I cant stand PP and his antics. If he didn't act like a total weenie 99% of the time he'd probably win.

For Federal elections I would normally vote for a fringe party as a protest. Not this time.
We can't risk PP and his ilk being in power.

Any thoughts on how the NDP is going to do? Outside of a few northern ridings and some in BC, they could be flirting with losing official party status.

Just voted. I actually got to vote who I want as it seems the NDP are the better bet than the Libs to win my riding.

Voted in one minute in Coleman today. People that voted early had long waits. I think it is faster to vote on election day - more people work at the polls.
