I'm sure to a man the Flames busted a nut in both games. They didn't generate much in game one, but won the game.

Game two was a frustrating experience because they forced it too much in trying to find ways through the Dallas system.

Game three had them generating way more, but had a lull at the end of the second and paid for it.

Never confuse a lack of chances with effort when the other team is doing everything they can to make the game non event hockey.

Abysmal effort was a poor way to word it. Abysmal entertainment maybe is better (boring Dallas system). But I was at Game 2 and saying it was frustrating is the perfect way to put it.

IMO, the wall of shame is mean spirited and dangerously close to bullying. It's one thing to call out trolls or hyperbolic posts sure.

But I think it's a step too far only because there's no usernames attached to ATLs whereas the wall of shame points the finger directly at the username.

I dont like it, it's not funny or fun.

Of course many will counter thats it's equally not as fun sifting through negativity in GTs or whatnot, but they're sparsed out.

Especially since this fanbase has a long long history of being let down by the team themselves. The Flames have earned every inch of criticism they get even in the good years like this one.

Well said. It’s the first time a read through it and I thought it was lame. It takes the good spirit out of this place. When the Flames are getting outplayed it’s therapeutic for some. I didn’t post anything but I was complaining to my son a TON in the first two periods. I’ll take the salty tears of our rivals over the public shaming and singling our good internet friends here at CP. It would make good cut and paste material over at HFCoilers.

After the game we went to cowboys casino, then he disappeared. From what he can remember he was over on the Macleod trail side by the c-train. He is foggy on details at this point, but the nurses at foothills said he was done with the ER and transferred to trauma recovery before 2AM.
Might have been a robbery, at this point he has no clothes, phone or wallet. Maybe the police will fill him in on what happened. People suck.
He borrowed one of my Monahan jerseys to wear to the game. Maybe that was bad luck.

Probably not a debate for this thread but I actually LOVE mountain time for North American sports. I found PT too early for NFL games and I like the late NHL games on Saturdays. ET is just totally lame, no way to follow any teams outside your zone meaningfully.

Cowboys or C-Train have any cameras? That is awful to hear and frightening in our city. This probably better discussed in the YYC thread as there is an ongoing issue with C-Train and crime.

There’s a lot of sketchy people along the train station lines and platforms. They have security guards now at Anderson and Canyon Meadows I noticed.

I reported someone the other day that was sitting on the train sharpening a hatchet and talking about going camping. Now who’s going to tell that person to put that away? The response from CT was, “are they threatening anybody”? Or was I overreacting and should mind my own business? That’s what people are talking about when they say the ctrain isn’t safe.

I posted a stressed out Homer gif between goals 1 & 2, I was disappointed I didn't make the Wall.

That, and I really don't think he vetted every single post and put em in. Not with that many.. Think they just picked a cross-section of posts at a time in the game when things looked bleak (and boring) and posted em all.

I made it for simply asking in the 2nd period why the games at the Dome are so much more boring this series than in Dallas. Which certainly quickly flipped, but not really shameful. Yeah I think they just posted comments from a certain time period.
