The Oilers started to become unhinged in back half of the 2nd period and totally lost focus on the fact that it was game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals and the only goal should be to win that game not send messages to your opponent. Oilers have been coming back from deficits all playoffs so down by 3 in the 3rd wasn't an impossible task but they totally lost their composure. Knoblauch and the players are trying to downplay it as boys being boys when the game was out of hand but the reality is that the Panthers have taken residence in the heads of the Oilers.
