Agreed. That is a multiple game suspension in the regular season on Kane

What did they fine Benn when he did that to mangioane ?
Also I’ve never seen a team 2 hand slash after the play on players legs like this Oiler team. Just gargbagr all around.

Going back to last years playoffs the Oilers have 8 goals in 5 games in Florida and only 2 of those have been 5 on 5.

The one thing I see no one talking about here is the spear Wahlman did to Matthew BEFORE all this go back and watch and you see it. You see it live but SN cut it out of the replays and starts the replay just after.

That was embarrassing by Edmonton. I never remember a team melting down in the finals like that before.
It's one thing to lose, but to completely throw a 20 minute tantrum is something else...

Knoblauch pausing the questions to praise the refs for catching them on too many men and then immediately complains that it wasn’t called THE GAME BEFORE in overtime. What a bunch of babies

If the nhl cared at all about player safety (they definitely dont), they would be fining and/or suspending all of Walman, Kane, Frederic, and Perry. Send a message or this series is going to continue to get away from the refs

All the oilers crying- Kane crying too. He's such a despicable human being. Dirtiest player on the ice but crying that FLA 'gets away with it'. How about having some accountability for being a liability for your team all game and losing it?
He's no team player, never was. All he cares about is looking good, cars, money and women. No wonder he's been booted out of two organizations. Selfish, narcissistic scumbag. Isn't it funny how these clips of him hanging out with his kids, having them pick his suits for game etc. somehow make it to the media? 'Look at what a good person I am'. It's all a show. The divorce between he and the oilers is going to be messy, and fun to watch.

I went over to sportsnet to enjoy the meltdown and see what the oilers propaganda machine is spinning. They have their little mini-stories underneath the game stories. One, from 'sportsnet staff' (spector, is that you?) was 'Did the referee cause the oilers to give up a goal??
I'd say having d**che bomb and nurse on defense caused them to give up a goal. And, even if so, what about the other 5 goals? **** sportsnet. They should just replace their blue and red colours with blue and orange and be honest.

On the panthers first goal, I counted 5 slashes or cross checks by pissy from the time the puck was dropped until los panteros scored the goal. Not once did he make any effort to look at the puck. The narrative of the house elf about “only when the game was lost” simply isn’t true.
I find the way the greasies play is incredibly disrespectful. Just in general.
Still, it’s 2-1 and another big game coming up. Los panteros!

This is exactly why such behaviour needs supplemental discipline, because the trash Oilers organization excuses and even encourages such dangerous non-hockey plays. If the league is serious about player safety, it needs to make an example, and do it now.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Cats need game 4 before we get too excited. The Oilers could win 2 in a row and win the cup but I sure as heck don't see them winning 3 in a row. Not against these Panthers.
I must admit, I didn't think the Panthers had a ton of gas left in the tank when these playoffs began. But they've hit that extra gear now, just hope they carry it through until the job is done and they save the known universe once again.
