If there is any higher power in this universe the Panthers will win again. If the Oilers win the Cup and with everything going on in the world I think Dennis DeYoung said it best when he sang "I know you feel these are the worst of times, I do believe it's true."

Like last year, if the Oilers win the cup my life won't be altered in the least. The Panthers beating the snot out of them would be fun however.

Back to back trips to the finals.

Remember when the Oilers were the laughing stock of the league and served as a warning that teams should never tank because they could end up like the Oilers?

Who's laughing now

Id say back to back finals has probably solidified a McDavid extension in Edmonton.

They still are the laughing stock of the league. They are the very definition of "Nothing Earned, Everything Given." and everyone who's not a Coilers homer easily sees it. Their players are detestable people and a good chunk of their fans are up there too. They are the last team anyone should want to win, as the last thing any actual hockey fan should want to see is a bunch of whiny divers getting their hands on the Cup.

Go Panthers, go.

Coin flip.

Panthers have the better roster and goalie. But McDavid and Draisaitl will be motivated.

Hopefully the Panthers don't no show like every other team.

I'll be in the Philippines Jun 12-21, glad I'll be out of country, if the absolute worst thing happens.

Best case scenario: Panthers hoist the cup on Jun 12 whilst I'm in the airport lounge awaiting my near midnight departure.

Oilers in 5. They’ve been dominant defensively and I don’t see anyone stopping them. They’re also the healthiest team in the playoffs. Barely noticed them losing Hyman.

I long for the quaint times when the Canucks were the chief rivals of the Flames. The Jets weren't yet in the league and the Flames were still my team, and I hated the Canucks. But in a normal way. The Canucks sucked and their team were divers, but, they weren't scumbags with cancelled contracts re-signed on a sweetheart deal. They didn't suck for a decade, hoover up 1st round picks, cause the league to go to a lottery system then win that ####ing lottery.

The Oilers aren't the chief rival of my team, the Jets, they're just literally the worst organization in pro sports. I've lost the ability to properly express how disgusting that organization and their truck nut fans are. Good lord, please Florida, dispatch these bastards again please.

Just think of how good it’ll be for the rivalry if the Oilers win the cup.
