I'm nervous about Weegar on the point these days. He has the fumbles.

A quick heads up for viewers, as noted in the title thread, the Flames game will be on Sportsnet One. Once the Knights-Leafs game is over, Sportsnet West will immediately join the Flames game in progress which will be around the end of the first period. The Ontario channel will join in later on after Sportsent Central's Leafs post game show.

Personally I'm pretty okay with any of McKenna, Stenberg, Verhoeff, Bjorck, or Malholtra, so if they finish bottom 3 which guarantees a top 5 pick but also gives them a great shot in the lottery then that's fine with me

Agreed, I think we have to have this attitude as we are not catching the canucks especially now that Demko appears done + more offloading by the canucks.

Nah, Russian machine don't break. I don't think either Ov or Malkin will retire after this year.

Speaking of which, I didn't realize the alumni game was at the Dome today(EDIT: guess it was yesterday).

He didn't have a good game, and it's just fine for him to watch a game.

No, clearly if Pachal ever plays another NHL game again, it can only be because Huska is deliberately sabotaging the rebuild and the entire organization has lost its marbles and decided to go all-in for a playoff spot.

Is Official Narrative, comrade! Report yourself!

So much for the kids not losing icetime. Bruz will be on the Wranglers next week.

Probably but that’s ok. He needs to play and play a lot
When Zayne comes up he goes back down

He deserves to be playing NHL minutes. I don't think he looks out of place.

Teams that are serious about getting better, serious about developing assets and finding out what they have in their young players.

Think of it as failing forward.

They know what they have with him. He’s a future full time nhler
But he needs to play a ton. He and Zayne would be competing for ice time including on the pp

Name one team that has had three rookie D in the lineup in recent memory.

‘Teams that are serious about getting better’ is not an answer.

Unlike Parekh, Brz can go down during the Olympic break, so he will. What happens after the break will depend on what they do with the excess of RHD.

Having the occasional game off can be helpful for a guy like Brzustewicz.

HAs nothing to do with Whitecloud, and everything to do with getting a reset
