If someone proposed a Danielson for Bystedt trade, I expect most people would respond that the Sharks would need to add Musty (or more) to make it happen.

From a Flames perspective, if one offer is Danielson and a 1st then the other is Bystedt and a 1st and a roster player.... that roster player needs to be a good value. Graf probably makes the most sense as the other players we would be interested in wouldn't be packaged up with other parts.

I disagree. It’s all about current performance now especially since they are all about the same age and Danielson doesn’t have that much of an edge. The Sharks might not even want to swap Bystedt for Danielson

But, I agree with the general concept of adding. I previously suggested something like Rasmus+Mews+Coronato (or maybe Gridin) for Misa, but still think it's very unlikely.

I think, out of all of the extra top tier centers out there, Misa is the hardest to think would move anywhere. I've always liked McQueen, as that guy, but with the talk of San Jose..... let's raise our expectations all the way up to Will Smith!

Danielson has gotten 28 games in the NHL and the others haven't any.

Considering the Sharks roster it is somewhat telling that Chernyshov passed Musty and Bystedt to secure a roster spot while the other two still haven't even gotten a cup of coffee.

Other issue isn’t just fair value - it’s SJ pushing the prospect development out a year unless they really soured on someone

The only potential deal for a Misa would need to be centred around Parekh IMo
