So you're saying Quinn Hughes was the key to tanking?

Or perhaps, similarly to coaching changes, can core player trades create a temporary bump in play?

Having a guy on your team you know doesn't want to be there isn't good for the dressing room.

Atleast with Andersson it's a money issue and he doesn't look like he's checked out.

Yeah, the Andersson issue sucks. I like him, but his career trajectory and our competitive trajectory just dont match.

He wants money and term and to win, and you cant blame him for that, he's just not going to get any of that here.

Or, perhaps your assertion was just premature and troll-ish

Andersson is playing his best hockey in years. Likely to attract offers from the teams he wants to go to and because he's in a contract year. Having a flop of year could result in him being a UFA getting paltry 3-4 year offers. Not what you want at 29.

Apparently the players were sized for rings, but haven't gotten them or been told when to expect them.

But put the rings on the season ticket holder Christmas card

Sounds like Hughes was probably getting tired of Pettersson too

They should have gotten rid of both Elias and JT
