Buble has been making public comments about the Canucks lately. Don't really know what to make of it, but it's entertaining.

Buble has always made public comments about the Canucks. He is openly a Canucks fan.

Edit: Frank is going to be on shortly and they will talk Canucks so we will see if he has anything to say on Buble

Buble's fandom has long been considered super cringe by many Canuck fans in the Lower Mainland

Yeah, and obviously I don't know everyone there lol but anecdotally amongst many of the different crews I socialize with, everyone cringes when that grown ass man comes out like he's a 12-year old mega fan.

Canucks too cheap to get their farm team championship rings?

Apparently the players were sized for rings, but haven't gotten them or been told when to expect them.

Quote:
The mark of greatness for many professional athletes can often be found on his or her fingers. The championship ring is a symbol for success and a long-lasting memory for those rare individuals who make it to the top in their sport.

The tradition actually dates back to the 1893 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Hockey Club, who ordered rings for its players after that big win. The American Hockey League’s Calder Cup champion has rewarded its players with rings for decades – but that tradition hasn’t yet occurred for the 2025 champion Abbotsford Canucks.

The News has spoken with several team members from that title-winning squad, who have shared that rings have not been received or even discussed since the Canucks captured the AHL’s top prize on June 23, 2025. Players were fitted for rings in the summer and no further information has been shared. Reporter Rick Dhaliwal of the Donnie and Dhali show on CHEK TV also confirmed on Sportsnet 650 on Friday (Dec. 19) that rings haven’t been received.

Is this a sign of a team rebuilding correctly?

Tanking well and rebuilding correctly are two very different points.

Don't know if any one actually claimed the latter.

Canucks are tanking well? since they decided to tank last week after a failed rebuild with a one year cup window?

As long as they occupy 32nd, yup. You can't 'tank better' than being in last place.

Can we make a trade? I suggest a 3 or 4 for 1 trade - the posters that are constantly filling-up every thread with 'hope we lose', and now recently with 'Canucks are further ahead in their rebuild' - can we just trade them to the greater Vancouver Fanbase, and get Blaster in exchange? Sound fair?

IDK they added 3 roster players and won 2 straight
we also have more than half a season and a lottery to go

They've gone 2-0 since their amazing tanking trade.

Before the trade, they were 7 points behind Chicago, 5 points behind Seattle, 4 points behind Winnipeg, and 3 points behind Calgary and Nashville. With a win tonight, they would be 1 point ahead of Seattle and Nashville and 1 point behind Calgary, Chicago, and Winnipeg (assuming the Jets don't beat the Avs).
