Enoch, your data is fine, but as Scornfire already pointed out it can't really assess what I am talking about.

I didn't even say there was a specific person at fault. It could be an organizational culture thing, it could be doctors that are at fault, it could be that they listen too much to players, whatever.
Before we focus on assigning blame, can you actually prove it's an issue at all? You seem to have jumped ahead a step or two.

Exactly. Fault for what?

You don't seem to understand Monahammer's point.

Of course it's the Flames' fault. What ‘it’ is will be determined from day to day, but there must always be an ‘it’, and ‘it’ must always be the Flames' fault.

Didn't anybody ever teach you to reason backwards from the conclusion you want and make up whatever facts will support it?

Rookie of the year at 18, Norris Trophy at 19 then for the next 8 years, Art Ross/Conn Smythe/Hart in year 3 as a 20 year old. I think Bobby was a star from the minute he arrived.

Yup, he was third in scoring on his own team (and had very little support on that crap team). 41 points in 61 games. That was more than any other Dman in the league except for two guys on the powerhouse Hawks, and those guys lived off off Hull, Mikita, Hull and Esposito. Bit of a dead puck era too, only Hull, Mikita and Norm Ullman were over PPG.

And as I pointed out, you haven't actually pointed out anything yet. You haven't made any actual claim, and beyond that, you haven't presented any evidence that would back up any claim - just another vague, "the Flames are the worst, man" statement.

I think what you meant to say was it took Orr 3 years to become the greatest player in NHL history.

No argument from me on who's the greatest but it was years 4 thru 9 that gave him that title.

They may be unaware that preventative medicine also falls under the medical team's purview.

I agree. I really like the message this sends... not just to Parekh, but also to the fans and to other players both in our system and in other systems. Bennett winning the Conn Smythe is one of the best things that could have happened to this organization. (Aside from him winning it as a Flame, of course.)

I really love Huska as the coach. Just so well spoken, polite, insightful, and seems like a very good 'modern' coach. He isn't an overly friendly 'player's coach', nor is he the 'hard ass' with a short shelf life. Hopefully he lasts for years and years like Cooper has in Tampa, and hopefully when it is time to move on, the next Sutter is ready.
