In 126 AHL games he has 11 points. May be a hard nose defender, but his ceiling is a 7th defencemen.

The trouble with proven AHL talent is, by the time you get proven at the AHL level, you're waiver-eligible and on the verge of not being a prospect anymore.

For the most part, all they've proven is that they are more tweener than prospect.

If he's a hard nosed defender that can shut down elite opposition his point total won't matter.
Now will he be? Not so sure but then he hasn't gone in the top 19 prospects so clearly he has some work to do.
