Really? Go watch the second goal by Florida and tell me Draisaitl was doing something. McDavid went out of position because he was trying to do everything.

if he doesn't have a new contract before the season starts that city is going to be in full melt down mode.

Pretty sure he dropped the F bomb in the live interview in the last sentence lol.

Good grief. We all know that those two rarely backcheck. That's not unusual.

Haven't been watching NHL since first round. I can't stand how late the season goes--especially because the CFL is my favourite league and we're already in week 3!
Nevertheless, watched the highlights and post-game interviews last night when I got home. Knoblauch was asked something about whether or not putting McDrai together so early was "part of the plan"- (as if they have any other "plan" besides that) or if they went to it because they were down so fast. Knob essentially admitted it was because they were down so fast.

Then I saw that they each were -4 on the night. So, not only did they not produce offensively in the game, they were on the ice for almost all the goals against!

It's amazing how the fun twins always seem to escape this criticism. Like, watch McDavid on Tkachuk's goal. He "backchecks" to a guy that is already being marked, leaving Tkachuk open to fill the late-coming-lane and score. Why don't they get more flak for being the defensive liability that they are, when paired?

They have never had any sort of defensive accountability since their first day as an Oiler.

 Just seriously stop.

I asked you to show where I slandered or trashed her and you couldn't so you stop. I don't even know what you are talking about that she confirmed at his funeral. You bringing this kind of stuff up to start a fight is inappropriate and of really poor taste. It's absolutely disgusting and has no place on here. Not only is it completely off topic it is an insult to the memory of Gaudreau and it is slandering myself with false accusations. Again, you need time in the sin bin. Be better.

It probably won't happen but I'd love for Conroy to make some sort of special congratulations to the Panthers for winning the Stanley Cup before making the 32nd pick in the draft.

Not to be the party pooper but the decentralized draft means its Bettman (or Daly) up on the stage making the announcement. Like the NFL.

I don’t recall a single team congratulating the panthers last year. Was very disappointing and for that reason this decentralized draft must stay.
It’s such a better presentation than having prospects sit in the stands like a bunch of fans.

The Flames are basically like the awful player at Monopoly/Settlers of Catan that makes a horrible deal giving the game to another player and screws over everyone else at the table. Seems to happen in my hockey pool every year. Someone trades two star players for one mediocre keeper and everyone else loses their mind.

If we are screwing over the rest of the table, I'm glad it was the Oilers that got screwed.
