That is two Selke finalists, and one of the best defensive d-men in the NHL. Tough to find space against those guys.

At 5v5 in this series:

With McDavid - 52.0% xGF
Without McDavid - 42.0% xGF

The big thing is they also got PDO'd with McDavid on the ice at 5v5 - 3 GF 8 GA on .873 PDO (.830 save percentage).

But I hope the Oilers media fixates on McDavid being outscored 8-3 at 5v5, blame it on him, and run him out of town.
If he's the best player in the world and about to be the highest paid player in the league yeah its kinda his fault. Not entirely but he is counted on to carry the team and he didn't.

This post isn't getting enough attention.

Kane gooning it up in a SCF game 6 once the game is pretty much over is just proof what a piece of s*** human he is. Lose with some class. Oh wait he has as much class as he has credit at Vegas casinos…
Hope you paid the rental companies for your rolls Royce already clown.

Finally.

Tomorrow will one of the best days of a Flames' fan's life. Your breakfast will be better than any you have ever tasted.

Jeff skinner playing in a do or die game is funny- that’s the only option they have??. All I saw him do tonight is try and be tough, fall, get frustrated. Absolutely useless. Good thing the oilers replaced Holloway with him.

I just can't help keep thinking that the Panthers 3rd goal, Reinhart's 2nd (off the skate) would have been no goal had it been the Flames who scored it

Can we talk about Knobby’s decision to pull skinner with 7 min left? I get it’s do or die, but that ended up 4-0 almost instantly.

That was desperate and stupid.

Top 9 forwards for Panthers all had at least 15 points in playoffs

Good morning....

The air is a little cleaner and the grass is a little greener this morning. Life is good.

I learned a couple more things this playoff, 90% of hockey fans are fickle and even though I haven't played organized sports in years I am still superstitious AF.

Happy for Bennett and the Conn Smythe.

Glad that for a second year in a row I don’t have to listen to the Oilers fanbase or the Sportsnet oilers cheer crew all summer.

Thank god the Panthers pulled it off.

As part of the CP fan base that felt only bad things happened when I turned on the TV to watch, the last being the Nurse and tying goal in game 4, I was ecstatic to leave to Europe on the 13th. This morning, for whater ever reason I woke up at around 5am. I now account that to the hundreds of CPers collective release of pure joy. Kind of like when Alderaan was blown up, only in a pleasant way. The world is a beautiful place today.
