It only took me 1 minute in advanced voting at SAIT. But for sure, they need way more people working for early voting.

Trump thinks Canadian voters are voting for him. Yeh, that guy is totally normal.

Continued my ongoing bit of pestering my wife to vote, extolling the importance of democracy, dragging her to the voting station and promptly wasting my vote on Larry Heather.

Trump is going to be sooooo disappointed to find out he did not receive one vote. Will probably call for an investigation

I advance voted, but on the Saturday afternoon because I figured people might vote early on Friday before going on a trip for the long weekend. In and out in 5 minutes. There was no one in front of me.
Life long conservative voter, voted Liberals for the first time ever. Just can't stomach PP and his antics. I don't think he'd be any different than Trudeau in terms of qualifications to run a country.

I've seen some Maple MAGA types posting videos of themselves spoiling their ballots to write-in Trump.

Crazy after hating Trudeau for so long that some people actually want someone with less real world experience and more distaste and even hate for everyday Canadians.

Do they provide the counts and publish the names of write-in candidates?
As MarchHare says, there's likely a non-zero sum of right-wing voters who are going to write or already wrote-in Donald Trump on their ballots, and I want to see how many potential votes the CPC lost because of it.

I had a surprisingly long line this morning in the Calgary-Centre riding during the morning rush. I had to wait for 15 mins in line. The longest that I have waited to vote for a federal election ever. Doubt that it stayed that busy past that before work rush.

Voted for Corey Hogan / Carney for reasons I stated in the federal thread.
Very easy to vote middle of day, no lines.

Here's an example of someone saying they don't think Carney has the experience to run the country.

hahaha. Mark Carney's little finger could run the country better than Trudeau! lol
and his middle finger will run it better than Pierre Yappydog.

Same here, quick & easy process.
Very unlikely that MRG gets ousted from her seat, but never say never!

Is she even in the country? Isn't she shooting wild hogs in Arkansas?

It actually raises a reasonable question of what type of experience works best in politics. Career politician? Finance background? Lawyer? Everyday Normal Guy? Is there even a trend or does it generally come down to character?
