I use Naturalstatrick.

They did have the Kraken at 55% in expected goals in all situations. So not that different in splits.

Just a different weighting method for expected goals I guess.

I really doubt they have an anti Flames algorithm in their modelling.

They just assign expected goals by a different parameter weighting.

A- Yeah. Yeah they did.

does location matter for xGF? Shot type?

The heat map kind of correlates with Seattle with higher expected goals for as they used the middle and barely the point. The Flames use a lot of the offensive zone especially the points. Could be a reason we haven't scored as much.

Is Andersson nursing a LBI?

He is working hard, but his stride looks uncomfortable...

He took 2 shot blocks early in the game and was very slow to get up from both.

Both models assign a goal share based on parameters (danger level), but they clearly have different weightings.

Five on five the Flames were the better team (58% expected goals).

But on the PP the Kraken had a 0.76 to 0.45 expected goal advantage, swinging the total game split.

I think Seattle might have just unseated Colorado as "the fanbase that inexplicably hates the Flames the most."

It's weird. The Flames handed them their first captain.

She was standing in the isle, looks like an usher to me, who likely must have needed the caution tape for some other reason.

Man, two of my all time favs. Chris Simon was such a massive part of our 2004 run. When they wanted to play a little bigger they'd have him left side of Iginla and damn that was fun to watch.

McCarthey and Simon just missed playing together. Simon was traded to the Flames Feb of 04 then the Rangers picked Sandy off waivers a week later

Caution Tape serves a singular purpose. It is to induce Caution.

bias vs biased and worst vs worse. I'm always shocked at how poor lots of people are in their understanding of those. "This is the worse I've ever seen them!".
