Weird, it's almost like I said that the world isn't black and white or binary. Like some amazing peoples gender or race.

It’s also pretty easy to say you support a group while not actually showing it. Supporting a party seeking to do them harm and comparing trans people to MAGA isn’t what anyone would actually consider “support,” no matter how many times you call them “amazing.”

I never compared them directly. And you are putting words in my mouth. As you are wont to do.

You literally did, whether you intended to or were victim of clumsily using them as pawns to bolster a weak argument. And you still voted for UCP.

Actions speak louder than words, right? Maybe focus a little more on what your actions say about you. And by actions, I don’t mean the flaccid little finger waving bit.

I'll take your eloquent comments into consideration.

how does tariff related money "pour" into the united states?

genuine question, I want to understand the mental gymnastics here. Does he mean the US is increasing its deficits by borrowing more to bail out american companies that will be decimated by tariffs?

Ford even said so the other day when he described speaking to GOP members privately.

Like the saying goes, every person has a breaking point. What is theirs?? Any sane, rational human being can see that Trump has gone completely off the rails, is not well mentally, and is causing severe harm to the U.S. economy and their reputation around the globe.
We can't even get the Democrats to say "enough is enough." They talk a big game and then immediately give in.

Here's Schumer rolling over and showing his belly to Trump.

Would be nice if the opposition party would actually do some meaningful opposition.

It's almost as if funneling money to the wealthy benefits policy makers from both parties, and there's no incentive to oppose anything.

Yeah, other than some true believers in the Democratic party (Bernie, AOC, Walz), they're really just performing a bit so they can't be as blatantly tied to the rot and corruption as the GOP are.

At some point they need to break off and form another party. The notion that doing so will only help the GOP ignores the fact the current Dem establishment is constantly helping the GOP with their flaccid attempts at being the opposition. Timing would definitely be key, but in the likely event of an economic collapse then their window would be open. Hopefully they are ready.

Voting for a shutdown would probably play right into Trump's hands and likely give him more power. There wasn't a good option here and a shutdown that Trump could blame on the Democrats is probably what they were hoping for.

Howard Lutnik looks and sounds like a cartoon character. Like why do ALL the Repubs have such punchable faces?

As opposed to voting to keep it open and letting Elon and his minions continue to take it apart anyways?
