I've been a loyal CP'er for 22 years and always peruse the site without logging in. I look forward to July 1st and trade deadline day because I'm a fan of hockey, the NHL and especially the Flames. It's supposed to be fun.

Definitely seems like it’s a sellers market this year. The returns for Jones and Nelson were huge.
Think it’s a combination of so many teams within range of a playoff spot that they don’t want to sell as well as teams that are at the bottom of the league not wanting to sell anything for picks/prospects either because they have nothing to sell or because they want NHLers back in trade.
