I don't know, he wore #86 in camp ... the only other player in Flames history who wore it is Josh Jooris. Fitting number for a 6th round pick who went to the ECHL and worked his way up.
#25 in the CP prospect ranking list this past summer.
hope the 24 ahead of him turn out!
Who has he passed?
1. Parekh, Zayne 81% NA
2. Wolf, Dustin 84% -1
3. Coronato, Matt 74% -1

I'd say up to 18/19?
A multi-goal outing in his NHL debut will put Kerins! in the top 10 of that list.

Kerins should keep his #6 up on the big club. It'd be a fun change to see a lower number at FW. Edit: other than the #8 (Colborne the last one to use a low # at FW?)
I think Chris Stuart(sp) wore #8 after Colborne. At least our waiver claims have gotten much better from that point.

I'm really happy to see a Kerins call up! I'm getting a lot of Monahan vibes from the kid. He's sneaky good at finding holes in AHL goalies, he has good hands in tight and he's constantly going to the front of the net. Hopefully he sticks with the big club, and gives the Flames another solid C option in the top 9.
It's still crazy to me that those stupid jerseys with the Flag were our primary jerseys for 13 seasons
Just horrible.
It drives me crazy looking through our jerseys, every time. Actually shocking to think that the 2003-2004 era red jersey was only worn for three seasons. They came out of the pedestal era with an almost perfect pair of jerseys and a popular black third jersey and gave into Reebok with the Edge program then Ken King decided to put flags on the shoulders.
Even when we switched back to our vintage look those red reebok edge style stuck as a 3rd for some god forsaken reason. Like I get Ken King was really proud of all the work he put into even getting the flags allowed on there.. but they stuck with a bad idea for way too long out of misguided pride.

Huska and Conroy, in the short time they’ve been here, have done nothing but bring prospects along the right way. To suggest that they aren’t on the same page or that Huska doesn’t know what he’s doing seems pretty odd at this point.

There is no rationale reason to be worried that he's not playing on Saturday. It'll happen.
If it weren't for narratives, some folks would have nothing to comment about,
