Across the street on the west side; on the east side of the block where Cowboy's Casino is.

It was originally proposed behind the existing BMO Centre in that staff parking lot in earlier versions of the master plan.

That would be fantastic. I assume it would mean connections, and an indoor walkway, from the BMO centre right through to the arena.
Would be nice if they also connected it to the Ariva block to the north, but that seems unlikely.

I'm sure the Scotia naming rights will likely offset the CSEC annual contribution to the city

I might go a few times... most events that I would want to go to are priced at more then I'm comfortable paying right now and I imagine the new arena will make them even more out of reach. Regardless I imagine I'll use/experience the area around/adjacent to the arena significantly more often then the area inside.
This is being paid for with Taxpayer money and I'm a taxpayer so yeah... "#### the people who actually do pay to use it"... you'll be using it on my dime as much as yours. The surplus money your paying is for the event inside (which I likely won't be attending). So yeah I think the exterior is more important then the interior.
