With the Rangers down a major dman again, I wonder if a Flames swap for Tanev is back on the table. He’d be a good fit for them.

One thing with Anderson is that the trade could just be a straight up hockey trade. He has no trade protection and some term left on his deal. I could see some non-contenders, and even some non-playoff teams looking at him.
I would lean towards not trading him unless the offer was insane to turn down.

You know this in the Flames right? In down years they don't do that. Prepare yourself for the nick grossman, Fantenbergs,Cundaris' and Chris butlers again . Go through the history of calgary defenseman . This is the best home ( kinda because we got them all at such a youngage in relation to history)

Trade him, over rated, good contract.
I can't remember in the last 10 games where I said "Ohhh Andersson"
Or even heard his name now that he isn't gifted PP1 time.
Sell high, I'd rather retain both Tanev and Hanifin while selling Mr Andersson

I’m sure Andersson is garnering interest. That doesn’t mean the Flames want to trade him. Andersson is a legit top-3 D-Man, is young, and is on a good contract. Why wouldn’t teams ask about him?

Seems the majority is so high on him and truthfully I haven't seen much of him playing, the games I have seen he never did stand out even the slightest. He is young so I'll continue to be patient. I just hope he isn't all hype.

Peyton Krebs should be taping Dawson Mercer's stick and lacing his skates, if I live to be 100 I'll never understand how he was drafted so high or why Buffalo wanted him in the Eichel deal
