Options are (would be interesting to have a poll on which one people would prefer)

Boston: 2025 1st, Poitras, Trent Frederic
Colorado: 2024 1st, Calum Ritchie. Logan O'connor
Dallas: 2024 1st, Mavrik Bourque, Sam Steel
Vancouver: Nils Hoglander, Kuzmenko, 2024 1st
Vegas: 2024 2nd, David Edstrom Brett Howden
Winnipg: 2024 1st, Chaz Lucius, Mason Appleton.
Winnipeg offered a 1st and a "luscious apple". Was clealy taken out of context.

The only ones I could actually see happening are the Vegas and Winneoeg ones. Lucius feels like a dud prospect with his injury history.

This article was getting absolutely roasted in the comments and I tend to agree.

I don't think the majority of these are realistic but they would be an absolute homerun.

Are we talking about the same person or are you guys confusing him with Ryan Lambert or something?

If all of those were offered as is, my preference would go 1. Boston (depending on if the pick has massive protection clauses for next season or not) 2. Colorado 3. Vancouver

I know Kent pretty well. We have disagreed on a vast array of topics related to the Flames (Sharangovich being a recent one). Not once have I had any issue comprehending or communicating with him. He's nothing like Spector.

He's seeing pretty limited minutes with weaker linemates and putting up some points too.

The Vegas proposal is more what I'm expecting at this point with how Lindholm is playing. Hope to be pleasantly surprised. I like Edstrom to be a middle six centre in the long run similar to Backlund if it all pans out well.
From what I've heard, Poitras is also very strong defensively. So I'd argue his floor is also pretty good.

It's wild how much personal opinion/bias/perception shapes some people's reality.

Kent has beliefs about team building and operation, supports them with objective, statistical analysis as much as possible (so even if you disagree, they are typically defensible positions) and is seemingly a decent guy. But he lacks emotional or intellectual capacity haha.

The comparison to Spector is downright offensive. Spec is a complete clown, not to mention a perceptible jerk. Not even in the same realm.

Don't forget Vegas. We can use one or two of our salary retentions to be a middleman for them to add whoever they want and get them under the cap.
