I thought Corsi's meme was perfectly on point. It does mock Flames fans, sure, and you can choose to be insulted by that. I can recognize my own pettiness and still enjoy the schadenfreude.
But really it's another stab in the Oiler's kidneys about how utterly inept that "it's not if but how many" franchise is, especially in the contest of this thread. Thanks for posting it, I got a good chuckle.

The Flames do not have to be good in order to find enjoyment in the Oilers being no good.
If the Flames were top of the league, bottom of the league, folded, moved, or never existed in the first place, I would still relish the splendor of the Oilers absolute & perpetual no-goodness.

The somber tone on 32 thoughts is almost comical. It's comparable to the intonation CBC had the day Don Cherry was fired. Like they are all facing a drastic about face of what once was true is shown not to be.
