So my claims of what Palestinians do to their own people is incorrect? Torturing gays doesnt happen? Women having no rights is a myth? Human shields? Sexual assault at insane scales? Just imagine if the Palestinians for the last 40 years used diplomatic aid for schools, housing, diplomatic initiatives. Some of the bickering in this thread is through the roof. I'm sure there are a lot of good points from multiple posters with different angles, but you wouldn't think it from the semantic arguments on the most petty things. Chill out all. I'm not informed and want to read more about the various arguments but when someone can't even post a video and others jump on "it's so and so, so it's irrelevant". Isn't that the definition of an ad hominem argument? He could still have relevant points. Anyway, a lot of that here and it's hard to sift through the bitterness. A lot could learn from listening to different views without resorting to bickering.

1. Israel has repeatedly made it clear that they are the enemies of palestine. So yes, hard for us to understand over here, but even young adults at a music a music festival are viewed as enemies.

2. Lost in all this is the fact that Hamas killed and captured a large number of IDF soldiers. The occupying force are by definition, the enemy.

I don't agree with Hamas' tactics. I think this all won't end well for them. But come on, there's more to it than barbaric Muslims killing innocent party goers because ... something something gays and women's rights.

Interesting, did Israel wage war with Germany after the Holocaust? Did Japan wage war with the United States after the nuclear bomb?
