Nope. Appears to be just some loudmouth shouting overtop of a broadcast and providing zero insight.
I can’t believe this is a thing

My feed was about 5-10 seconds behind my Budweiser goal light, so I knew well in advance when the Flames scored. In fact I missed a goal because I was texting an Oiler fan the goal to see if his feed was the same. The problem is some of the plays like the Tkachuk 2 on 1 was pretty anticlimactic but I could really watch what led up to the goal. I was tempted to put the delay on the light but It was like a really good sneeze, it was an inconvenience but felt kinda good.

Unbelievable how far off the sound was. And the glitch in time when the switch to an ice level cam. I just watched for a bit to catch the intermission and it was back to GOAT Cuthbert for me.

At times watching sportsnet the clock and score were missing. And it happened at the final seconds of the period. Sportsnet having the Canadian monopoly has not served the fans well at all

Brady isn't afraid of anyone in edmonton. I hope he's there and I hope he brings a broom to game 4.

Just want to say how happy I was that so few Oiler fans got in the building. If it was 10% of the crowd that’s all it was. Crowd was great. Went to 17th after the game. My head is pounding today.
Markstrom was horrible but the boys bailed him out. He’s done it enough for them in the past.

IMO less than 5% at best. Most were in the nosebleed seats.

The hit was a fraction of a second after the whistle but I'm not sure that's why he got the penalty

It was fantastic! I'm so glad we got the Eastern guys on this series.
Felt about as neutral but also inspired as you could get.
A rare, rare occasion when you can tip your hat to SN/Rogers.
Thanks for not letting Singh, Michaels or Debrusk anywhere near this series.

They couldn't afford to give up 2 months pay to watch the game.

Is this for sure a penalty? I always thought it was, but then someone said it wasn't a few games ago.
Also, since Kane came in with a flying punch in reaction a clean hit I think he could have easily been given a roughing call as well.

Yeah I was watching the game with my American friend who was watching it on ESPN, and she commented that her feed was like 15 seconds behind.. cause I kept posting goals before they happened for her.
She also commented on "provincial punch-up" I mean who the hell says that?

This has to be the dumbest comment from an Oilers fan that I have ever read in an ATL report....just pure comedy
First the BOA hasn't really existed in decades. Games with the Flames for years have been fairly indistinguishable from others. I've never subscribed either that there was a battle with the Flames. In our glory years we usually rolled the Flames. Doesn't battle constitute that there is one?
In these "battles" the Oilers have always had the far more talented team and the Flames have had the lunchbuckets trying to bring hockey down to a primitive level. I never looked forward to series with the Flames, thats giving them too much credit. I looked forward to series against say NYI, Chi, Bos, Philly, more talented clubs than Calgary Flames had and that would actually try to play hockey. My sum experience with Flames series is expecting the worst play and conduct from the Flames and never being disappointed.
For Calgary this is always a battle because its their mountain to climb. Conversely I've never been excited with the Oilers facing the likes of Jim Peplinski, Tim Hunter, and the rabble. Uniformly the Flames, from a hockey standpoint, were always the worst of the teams we would face to watch. I guess people look at it from a drama standpoint. But I enjoy watching clubs other than Calgary. I hate watching the Flames anytime, but this is where we're headed.
I'll put it this way. Been to a ton of games through 50yrs. I love hockey, love playoff hockey. I've never bought a pro ticket in a game involving the Flames and never would. So many other opponents make for better "hockey playing" opponents. The Flames do something else, that I've always deplored. They bring hockey to the alley, always.

I thought maybe it was because Lucic lost his helmet? Isn't that a penalty now or something?

The business model of sports broadcasting - cable subscribers watching full games - is dissolving under the league’s feat. They’re desperate to bring in the under-40 audience before they’re lost to pro sports forever. So we’re getting online gambling, Youtube channels, podcasts - anything they think might stick in the modern attention economy.
