The Brady stuff is one of my favorite things happening in the playoffs. Dude just completely throwing his support behind his brother. Doesn't mean he isn't a Senator. He is both a brother and a member of an opposing team. You can be both. I love that he's not afraid to be both. It's pretty cool.

So why did Lucic get a penalty in that play? McDiver touched the puck and then got hit. I don’t get it. Was there a whistle before he got hit??
If they show the whole play it is for the uppercut he throws at Kane. Kane wanted nothing to do with Looch, Gudbranson or Ritchie at any time during the game.
Yah, I really don't get the comments about what the Ottawa Senators or their fans would think. I think it's neat he's so supportive of his brother. I'd have no problems at all if Matthew did the same thing if the scenarios were flipped around. I'd actually give him more respect for going all in for his brother.

I think it was hilarious Lucic gave Kane the ol' wrestling rake down the chest
Oh man, I was busting a gut when I saw that, Keith crapping his pants when Big Z whispers sweet nothings into his ear.

The wife and I sat down to watch the game and I turned to her and said “score early and often” . 5 seconds later 1-0. We look at each other and laughed. It seemed like we just finished laughing when it was 2-0. We turned to each other in a wtf moment then more laughing. What a game.

He’s also a kick ass senator so nobody should be concerned/too excited:

The 49-year-old Alfredsson served as the club’s captain from 1999 until he signed with the Detroit Red Wings for his final season in 2013-14. Nobody in this city has a better understanding of the pressure that goes with wearing the ‘C’ in a Canadian market and that’s why Tkachuk wanted to pick his brain.
“I thought it would be important for myself to just sit down and talk with him and get to know him just because of how influential he was in the community, for this city and for this fan base,” Tkachuk said. “I really wanted to get his opinion on certain things going (into being the captain). I thought it would be important for me to get to know him because he was such a great captain. Not only for this team, but league-wide he had so much respect. It was important to get his take on some things.”
I’m not sure how someone couldn’t love this family.

A lot of people talk smack about Calle Jarnkrok and I just don't get it. Reminds me of the reactions people had when Derek Ryan went a few weeks without scoring early in his first year here. Two very similar players IMO, although Calle definitely has a bit more muscle.
Jarnkrok hasn't scored yet. He's probably been robbed 15 times. He's playing terrific defensive hockey and helped Dube a ton at the end of the regular season. I don't think a lot of people realized how good the Flames had it with Ryan until he was gone, and I think Jarnkrok has come in and picked up right where Ryan left off.
The Flames are a scary team and Jarnkrok is absolutely a big part of that.
That's the perfect comparison - he is a bigger, younger, Derek Ryan. He is a 30-35 point guy who is great defensively and does all the little things well.
He has been snake-bitten, and some fans only see goals. But yeah, he's a beauty. And the people that talk about taking him out of the lineup are clueless.

I can totally see a ton of Senator fans being super jelly!
They might not make the playoffs for the next 5 years! lol
