I'm all for this, but I am pretty sure my season tickets partner will be out. She has said they aren't interested if there are any sorts of restrictions. Which also puts our long standing friendship at a bit of an impasse too.

Which means I am probably pulling the plug since I don't want to pay the whole shot. Fall back plan is to do a couple of really nice nights out in club seats or something for the whole family instead.

Alberta should update the app to show a giant green covid checkmark if you have both doses. It would be such a no brainer and be helpful to business owners, while also helping people hide other potentially private health records.

They could even hire Deloitte to do it for like $500k.

CSEC will be implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy that will require all fans (eligible to receive the vaccine), event staff and employees to be fully vaccinated for attendance at live events at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium.

Probably a QR code that can be generated from NetCare if you have received both doses. It can be done without any health information being revealed other than the fact that you have received any two doses of vaccine, which is implied by the fact that you have the QR code.

We're already down to a half season (each of us have 1/4) after a partner bowing out a couple of years ago. I'll call and see what my options are.

With the amount of private businesses that are going this route I am sure there will be something to help with this. I am sure they could piggy back with a number of technologies or processes that have already been implemented. Even go old school and hand out a card that can be printed off and match it to photo ID.

Thank you for your continued support and your patience as we continue to shape the plan for hosting fans at the Scotiabank Saddledome and continuing to welcome fans to McMahon Stadium. In consulting with health officials and event partners, as well as feedback from our fans, today we are announcing that Calgary Sports and Entertainment (CSEC) will be implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy that will require all fans (eligible to receive the vaccine), event staff and employees to be fully vaccinated for attendance at live events at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium. We are targeting September 15, 2021 as the effective policy date.

As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times, we believe this policy to be essential in delivering a safe environment for our fans and staff as well as an important measure to help our communities and businesses to continue reopening safely. We will monitor the situation and communicate required updates to ensure a safe environment for everyone visiting our facilities.

We remain excited to have welcomed fans back to McMahon Stadium through the month of August and are eager to welcome fans to the Scotiabank Saddledome in September.

In the coming weeks we will be providing you details on the implementation of this policy along with FAQ’s for attending events after September 15, 2021 at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium.
