This team is missing a #1 defenceman too. Hamilton is certainly not a big bruising defenfeman, so you’d think he’d be able to maintain his play into his mid 30s and would be a valuable trade chip if we ever decide full rebuild.

I'd be fine with this.

Ullmark would be a great backup.

Edler would be a decent signing because he can still play. I would just want the term and AAV to be really reasonable.

PK is not a top 4 at this point, so he's not competing with Andersson and Tanev for spots. Just exploring ways to get a vet and possibly another asset. Plus, who is pencilled into Gio's spot on the PP? Hanifin? Valimaki?

Yup. I think we get the old " in on everybody, couldn't get anyone". Probably a good thing at the end of the day.

Really the team needs to make a trade or 2 and sign value free agents. Value free agents will sign in a few days from now.
