Jesus tap dancing Christ. The line is thrown together and doesn’t show immediate excellence. Your obsession is unhealthy. Grow up

There's no way that they can go anywhere with that tandem.

Koskinen managing average hockey was the last straw between them and the abyss.

Honestly all 29 other GM's should be licking their lips when they see Hollands number on call display

Sonny Weaver Jr.: I want all your picks Holland, and I want David god damn Putney, just because I feel like it.

630 CHED going on and on about how good Markstrom was tonight and how unfortunate the (c)Oilers were to not land him. (And they're throwing BOTH Markstrom AND Smith under the bus right now...)

Uh, yeah. That's definitely part of it. Markstrom signed with the city that DOESN'T stink like stank...so SUCK IT UP!!!

At the same time, your team AS A WHOLE sucks. So, stop blaming Koskinen for the failings of your ENTIRE ORGANIZATION!!!

You get first star for embellishment.

Improvement ..for sure. I liked his play.

He was good...nowhere near what you think he was.

Was it you or the other Superfan that was so upset that he was playing RW?

Oh, and I really couldn't care less about this but Jesse Puljijarvi was great. I really enjoyed his game tonight. That's the poolparty I remember pre draft.

Was pretty ticked after the first period. I guess the boys had a players-only meeting in the intermezzo and figured out that they need to play some up-tempo hockey. After that it was pretty fun, if a bit butt-cheek clenching at times.

That last 5 minutes was awesome!! Flames were in a bit of a shooting gallery, but kept their poise and positioning and held their ground. Good on 'em!!

And it's always good to prove that E=NG!

also Neal was brutal tonight while Lucic was incredible.

This year:
Neal: 2 goals 1 assist
Lucic: 3 goals 2 assist

But Oiler fans will defend to the death they won this trade.

Honestly if they had a brain they would appreciate the penalty as a method to stop McDingle from driving the net like he was Cam Neely.

But they don’t... so...

The Bennett Saga refuses to die.

Another wrinkle as he scores and draws a timely penalty playing with top players.

Thing about Bennett...

If he’d just kept his mouth shut and his agent kept his mouth shut, we as fans might be thinking we have a new option for our struggling line up and personnel choices.

Maybe even the coaching staff feels that way.

Instead, this feels too little too late and lipstick on a pig. Sam’s gone now, it’s just a matter of time. So why waste time letting him get comfortable on the top line? Then flames just have to worry about finding a replacement for him anyways.
