Imagine hating your rival so much that you put $21m in assets out for what should be all of their third period minutes...in one shift!

Dube, Lucic, Backlund, Gaudreau had great games. Mangiapane too. I’m just going to assume Tanev and Hanifin did. Bennett was good in the the third. I thought Monahan was pretty solid, frankly. Lindholm was up and down, as was Chucky.

If I was an Oilers fan I'd be furious about the direction of that team. You have 2 of the best players in the world and have failed to get them any help at all. The 6+ minute shifts at the end of the game are sad/hilarious

Lol. I literally made one post in the game thread. RIP Gene Principe’s dad. Didn’t follow the thread at all. I didn’t realize how bad she gets under people’s skin.
I literally said to my wife.... “I bet Cassie says gutsy performance at some point tonight. She says it every single night.”
Aside from her inability to not say ‘Gutsy performance.... she has to be the most Captain Obvious analyst ever. It’s like a 12 year old is providing colour.
“As you see there, the goalie couldn’t get across the crease so they scored on the side of the net that wasn’t covered.”
Gee..... thanks Cassie, my eyes don’t work, can you maybe put a blinking red circle around the area that the goalie wasn’t covering just to make it perfectly clear?

Good effort in the final 40.
Think the shortened bench and really relying in the top 9 (with some questionable Nordstrom usage mixed in) really helped in the final two periods.
Lucic-Backlund-Mangiapane were great tonight, great game from all three of them.
