Toleration of the CHAZ and Portland lawlessness was a mistake that hurt the Democrats politically. I understand that assaulting the capitol to overturn an election ratification is a whole different kettle of fish. But if the Democrats genuinely want to be seen as a party that defends law and order (and they should, because the overwhelming majority of voters do), then shrugging off the violent takeover of an entire neighbourhood for a month and anarchists setting fire to federal courthouses as misdirected high spirits was not a good look.

And to be clear I didnt say I had sympathy for black rioters at all, what I said was that riots have periodically broken out across the US and UK in predominantly black areas as a response to police brutality since the 1960's, so much so that it became a staple of 'gritty' crime movies in the 1970's so to claim that BLM has any moral or legal responsibility for them is asinine, where as this is the first and only time a bunch of fat stupid middle class white mid westerners have attempted to overthrow the US congress and execute the Vice President on the steps of the Capital Building at the behest of their moron in chief, as such you can directly connect their actions to Trump and his basket of deplorables and flying monkeys, of course the fact we have tape of him egging them on helps
